Biophysics for Applications in Cellular and Organ Physiology in Humans Research Group (BIO-COP) is an initiative committing to employ physical and mathematical principles in explaining fundamental mechanism of biological systems in cellular and organ levels in humans. It focuses on four separate areas: human auditory system, renal microvascular filtration, microcirculation and discrimination of biomolecules via nanopores. Its objective is that bridging experiments and mathematical models would lead to a better understanding of biological systems, a more accurate diagnosis, an alternative treatment and a medical innovation.
